Have you ever heard this sentence?
"If you can tell the difference between work and play, then you are doing one of them wrong" *
In our agile & creative line of work, this has never been more true. Playfulness is a sign of a team that is working well together... and work is just way better when you're having fun doing it. Period. That's why I wanted to attend the Play4Agile unconference this year.
The first I heard about the conference was a couple years ago. While walking in the streets of Nuremberg, I spotted blue marks on the pavement writing: "play 4 agile". I later learned, that a friend of mine, Udo, had written those as part of his Playpplication. This is a creative work to show your willingness be there. Those marks had been part of Udo's Playpplication.
So back in December, I rolled up my sleeves and created my very own "Playpplication" (below) with some more information about Scrumkin a card game I have been developing, but never really talked about here... yet.
There's another thing I never talked about: the games I "bent" with my son. As a preparation for the unconference, I wrote them down. Expect this here soon (1. werewolves, 2. karmaka, 3. carcassonne & 4.bugs)
The unconference starts on Thursday and I'm not sure what to expect. But I am really looking forward to it!
